Some of the reasons why Information Services Corporation of Saskatchewan was selected as one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers 2011:
created a two-year diversity strategy plan in 2009 and established a diversity and equity working group to oversee its implementation
also appointed a diversity consultant for year-long term, to manage and facilitate diversity programs and initiatives
tracks workforce representation through quarterly reports on the recruitment, retention, promotion, and turnover of designated employee groups -- the ISC executive and leadership team also receive monthly reports which include current workforce representation figures
participates in career fairs hosted by community organizations such as the Neil Squire Foundation, Stepping Stones, and the First Nations University, to name a few
also forwards job vacancies to external groups such as the First Nations Employment Centre, Regina Open Door Society, and the University of Saskatchewan
