  • established a formal employment equity committee to ensure equitable employment practices for women, Aboriginal people, persons with disabilities, and members of visible minorities
  • in support of Aboriginal employees, has maintained an Aboriginal Advisory Network for nearly twenty years to provide employees with a forum to share their experiences, voice concerns and seek advice from peers
  • in partnership with the Gabriel Dumont Institute, offers work placement opportunities for Aboriginal peoples, and also participates in conferences organized by the Aboriginal Human Resource Council and the Aboriginal Government Employees Network
