as part of its long-term strategy to reduce its carbon footprint, the company recently moved into a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified head office
employees have eliminated use of disposable plates, cups and cutlery, installed energy-saving kitchen appliances, replaced paper towels with hand dryers, and set-up recycling and office paper reuse programs
recently established a nightly shut-down protocol for all non-essential electronics and lighting, and encourages its cleaning service to use environmentally-friendly products in the office
regularly donates its used laptops to Reboot Canada, which refurbishes and distributes used computers to charitable and non-profit organizations across Canada
