  • the program is the first to be created in Ontario and was created in partnership with Career Edge -- hired over 130 interns and provided 81% of the interns who completed the program found full-time employment
  • also works with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and the Ontario Bridge Training Program to ensure awareness of the program for eligible candidates
  • forwards job postings to Equitek and a variety of community agencies to connect newcomers to vacancies within the organization
  • provides managers with guidelines on creating barrier-free employment advertisements which include the use of plain language and limited references to credential requirements
