Cactus houses one of Canada's largest in-house apprenticeship programs for employees pursuing "Chef Red Seal" certification. The program is paid for by Cactus, and employees also receive three months of paid educational leave to accommodate the in-class portion of the program. The company also manages "Cactus Career Day", an in-house event for employees to create awareness of career options within the organization and identify potential employees for management opportunities.
