Telus manages a rotational Leadership Development program for university and college graduates. New grads are hired for an 18 to 24 month period and work in four areas (client operations, marketing, products & services, and channel). At the end of the program, participants may apply for any position in one of these areas. A similar program is also available for technology graduates.
Telus recently created a unique Career Development Portal, which allows employees to customize professional development plans as they move through their careers. In addition, the company regularly hosts interactive forums where employees can meet the CEO and executive team, as well as ask them questions and share their concerns.
