TIFF encourages ongoing employee development through tuition subsidies for courses related to their position, internship opportunities, and in-house training programs. TIFF manages a "WINGS", a unique bursary of up to $500 to help subsidize employee travel costs to film festivals around the world. Employees have travelled to the Sundance Film Festival, the Berlin International Film Festival and the National Cinema Museum in Turin, Italy. Employees can also take advantage of a variety of unique perks, including free employee passes to the Toronto International Film Festival and employee access to film screenings and lectures, as well as movie rental privileges throughout the year.
