UHN manages several partnerships with educational institutions in order to provide co-op and internship opportunities to students, including association with the Toronto District School Board, University of Toronto, and Ryerson University. UHN also offers clinical placements and opportunities to complete trades apprenticeships. UHN encourages dialogue between employees and senior management through a unique "virtual coffee" program, which encourages ongoing feedback in an informal, online setting.
