This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain hands-on
marketing experience and exposure to real-world issues that affect a small start-up
corporation in the areas of Social Media Marketing and Public Relations. The passionate and
driven Social Media Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator will support our Marketing
team and facilitate the development and implementation of our overall online marketing and
public relations strategy, including but not limited to: Position Focus - Working with the founders to establish and execute a social media marketing strategy aimed at increasing our brand awareness and public engagement. - Developing marketing initiatives and strategies focusing on driving traffic, engaging our followers, and growing our fan base. - Driving business metrics online through SEO development and link building. - Identifying, interpreting, and capitalizing on social media trends, tools, and applications. - Creating and managing a social media calendar and posting schedule - Managing company presence on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc. - Generating creative content and ideas based on insights derived from listening to and engaging with our target audiences. - Measuring and reporting on user engagement and on the impact of the social media campaign.
