The company has a highly experienced leadership team with a track record of successfully commercializing and deploying industrial technologies and is working towards the deployment of a first-of-a-kind commercial plant.Mangrove is looking for a skilled!!!!!Millwright to deploy and maintain equipment and machinery for our pilot and commercial plants located in Delta, BC (Annacis Island and Tilbury Island). The individual will have experience in pipefitting and the installation and servicing of a diverse range of process equipment. The Millwright will work with our Process Engineering, Operations and Maintenance teams to perform both regular preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to our facilities, in addition to executing upgrades to expand the functionality of our systems.!!!!!Note: This position is located at our Annacis Island and Tilbury Island (Delta, BC) facilities and will sometimes require overnight shifts. The location is accessible via transit, however overnight shifts may require more reliable transportation arrangements.!!!!!!!!!!ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of equipment spanning process flow through water treatment, electrochemical processing and crystallizationAssist with planning of upgrade and maintenance projectsAssemble bills of materials for related workExecute on mechanical and machinery upgrade projects at pilot and commercial scalePerform preventative and emergency maintenance on process equipmentParticipate in testing and commissioning of new equipmentMaintain service records through thorough and accurate documentationEnsure that safety and environmental rules and programs are followed!!!!!Required Education, Skills, and ExperienceCompletion of an industrial mechanical apprenticeship or combination of over 5 years of relevant work experienceRed Seal certified as a Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systemsExperience with computerized maintenance management systems for tracking inventory and processing workordersFamiliarity with electrochemical technology is an assetStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance challengesEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departmentsWorking Conditions:This position may require occasional evening and weekend work to address emergency situations!!!!!Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 poundsAbility to walk, stand, and perform manual labour for extended periods
