Sub-Broker Team Leader

EasyInsure, a rapidly growing national brokerage, is looking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join the head office team in Windsor, Ontario which provides a great working environment and excellent opportunity to grow within the organization.

The Role

The Sub-Broker Team Leader manages and supports the EasyInsure independent producer sub-broker network.



  • Review new broker recruits, existing books & experience
  • Negotiate new Sub-Broker revenue and equity splits prior to contracting

Onboarding New Sub-Brokers

  • Manage Sub-Broker agreements
  • Handle licensing requests
  • Coordinate systems onboarding requests
  • Provide training and coaching

Manage Existing Sub-Brokers

  • Head office liaison between the Sub-Brokers and EasyInsure department managers
  • Support the Sub-Broker Branch Partners in managing their sub-broker teams
  • Regularly audit existing sub-broker files and provide feedback to individual Sub-Brokers
  • Communicate regular with Sub-Brokers with new information, technology updates, product updates and market data provided to you by the department managers
  • Lead the team through change as well as the adoption of new initiatives while keeping them informed
  • Re-train and discipline Sub-Brokers when required

Budget & Goal Setting

  • Develop new business targets and retention goals with each Sub-Broker based on company budget goals
  • Monthly Touchpoints (engagement) with each Sub-Broker to review audit findings and production/service results


  • Regularly review and update:
    • Current documentation and forms
    • Market contact information
    • Policies and procedures
    • Training material
    • Insurance company product information
    • Resource library
    • Checklists


  • Provide weekly updates and month-end reports to EasyInsure Management


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • RIBO license an asset
  • 1 year leadership experience
  • Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Strong customer service experience and multitasking skills
  • Professional team player
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
